Youth In Action
Mission:
Youth in action is a network of youth under the age of 24 committed to providing volunteer services to seniors living at home by assisting them in maintaining their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Opportunities for Youth in Action Volunteers:
- Being matched with a senior who shares similar interests
- Flexible monthly group activities with seniors
- Other opportunities to help our seniors include:
- Home and yard maintenance
- Friendly visits
- Shopping and errands
Faith in Action of McHenry County is also pleased to partner with McHenry County College's
The MCC Promise. It’s the biggest community-funded scholarship program in the College’s history! In return of volunteering for community non-profit organizations, including FIAMC, The Promise will provide tuition for all high school seniors (public, private or home schooled) graduating from and living in a McHenry County College District 528 high school. That means thousands of students get the opportunity to earn a college degree or certificate.
